What are crypto airdrops and bounties?
Airdrops and bounties are promotional tools that cryptocurrency developers use to publicize their new blockchain projects.

Many crypto companies distribute free coins to their communities to increase their project’s visibility, increase the circulating supply and stimulate trade. These free distributions are commonly known as “airdrops.”

Cryptocurrency Bounty programs are incentives offered to an array of participants for various activities associated with an initial coin offering (ICO).

Crypto Bounty is way of giving rewards for performing tasks- It could be content writing, Bug Fixing, Video creating etc.

Why do companies give away free tokens?
Just like other types of product giveaways, cryptocurrency promoters use airdrops and bounties as a promotional tool. These marketing tools drive interest to the project.
What is an Initial Coin Offering (ICO)?
ICO stands for “initial coin offering”. It is a new form of efficient and easy raising of financial resources. Any individual or a company can crowdfund any project or become an investor. Every ICO has two mandatory attributes – issuance of a fixed amount of the new cryptocurrency unit (token or coin) dedicated to the ICO and blockchain based transactions.
What is an ICO token?
A token or a coin is a cryptocurrency unit issued during an ICO. These are their own and new coins. Therefore, it’s verly unlikely you get bitcoins or ethereum in these bounties and airdrops. You’ll receive say POLY, OMG, DBYTE or however they call their tokens.
What to do with dropped tokens?
Well, in most cases you need to wait for the ICO to end for the token distribution. Then, if you do not want to HOLD the tokens, wait for them to be listed on some crypto exchange.
When will I receive the tokens?
Most airdrops are distributed after the completion of the ICO. Sometimes, bounties are distributed weeks or months after an ICO, so if you have question(s) about a specific token you should try follow the team behind the ICO project on their various social media handles.
How do I claim my tokens?
The claim process differs from project to project. Some “holder drops” will drop tokens automatically into the wallets of users who own a specific coin. Other projects are snapshot- based, and can only be claimed by users who held the required token during the “snapshot,” which is a record of token holders taken at a specific time/block.
Where can I sell my airdropped crypto?
On various exchanges. Since the cryptocurrencies mainly come from new companies, they are not yet listed on the big exchanges like Binance. However, there are dozens more small Exchanges. You can check the token’s website or Twitter. New exchange listings are usually widely announced. Then you only have to create an account at the Exchange and you can usually exchange the tokens for Ether or Bitcoin.

For the most of the crypto airdrops, usually you will have to wait for the token sale to end. After that process blockchain project is usually listed on one of the cryptocurrency exchanges. Then, all you have to do is to create an account there and trade (if you even want to sell them) them.

You can find links of the most popular exchanges here.

I didn't receive the free cryptos after completing the airdrop?
There are many reasons why you may not have received your airdrop. Perhaps you did not complete all of the steps, entered invalid information or forgot to submit the form with your details. You may have also left the Telegram group, deleted your social media shares, or changed your usernames. All of these will cause you to forfeit your airdrop rewards. To be sure that you always receive your airdrops, follow our Step-By-Step guides very closely and always be sure not to delete your social media posts and stay in the Telegram groups until the token distribution has ended. Other common reasons for missing an airdrop payout: you tried to claim multiple times; you did not have enough Twitter/Facebook friends; you never sent a message in the Telegram group; your Twitter/Facebook is private (only public posts will be credited).
